Both teams started scrappy playing long ball to each other and neither team seemed to be able to control the ball and get any passing going. when Both teams settled into the match Beeston had the first brake through as Luke Daminabo knock the ball passed a defender and placed the ball just passed the keeper into the back of the net.

Notts county had a clear game plan of trying to catch the defence and midfield out with high long balls on the counter attack but Beeston's defence was switched on with good communication through out the back line especially from Zac Ross and Our Keeper Dylan Mitchell being alert and lively to claim the loose balls. Beeston had several chances but most came from corners and always just missed a Beeston head or going over the bar.

The second half saw much of the same but a really good battle in midfield that kept the game entertaining for all to watch but left the Beeston team frustrated as they could not brake through the Notts defence. As Notts was building up pressure their striker got fouled in the box and won a penalty, up stepped the keeper Dylan Mitchell he must of been the coolest, calmest player on the pitch. when most Beeston player wasn't even standing on the edge of the box expecting the worst Dylan dives to his left to save the penalty and the follow up went out for a goal kick, and what a save it was might i add i believe that people may be talking about this save for months.

All the players started to tire and as Luke controlled the ball in the centre of the pitch, he played a diagonal ball over the top for Harvey Kirk who used his pace to place it into the bottom corner and secure the points for Beeston.
