Broxtowe Businesses! Sign Up Now for the Inaugural Reckitt Community Cup

Broxtowe businesses are invited to enter a team in the inaugural Reckitt Community Cup.

The 7-a-side event be held between 10 teams, who will compete in two pools of five, followed by a semi final and final.

The special tournament will take place on Saturday June 29, from 10.30am to 4pm, and will be hosted by Beeston FC at Trent Vale Community Sports Association (TVCSA) in Beeston Rylands.

As well as competing for local football bragging rights, your company will be supporting a good cause.

Entry is £300 per team and all proceeds will go to the charitable arm of Beeston FC, the Trent Vale Community Sports Association. TVCSA provides the pitches and facilities for Beeston FC, allowing 250 girls and boys, plus four adult teams to enjoy football in Beeston each season.

Trent Vale is the perfect venue for the competition. Our nine-acre site includes good quality pitches for local firms to show their skills. There are changing rooms, there will be food and drink and the bar will be open.

The event has been sponsored by Reckitt, the country’s leading health and hygiene manufacturer, which is also Beeston’s biggest employer, with around 1,000 staff at its Rylands site.

Reckitt manufactures some of the best-known brands in Britain, indeed the world: Finish, Vanish, AirWick, Dettol, Durex and Clearasil, are all manufactured by the firm, not to mention Nurofen.

So, we are expecting a good, clean tournament.
