- Congratulations Kingy! So tell us, after a draw 0-0 against Wollaton FC in this semi-final and qualifying on penalties how do you feel after this victory at home ?

"It really feels good, obviously with our league position in mid table, which is respectable after being promoted last season, it gave us something to play for going forward… now everyone will need to give their best so they can get a shirt to play the cup final"

- ⁠What do you think about the game?

"I think we did excellent considering the weather conditions we had to battle against in the 1st half… the wind was a big advantage for our opponents and they were loading the box at every opportunity, but the boys battled through & in the second half I think we played a better football and we probably should have won it in the normal time"

- ⁠What do you think were the key points that helped you win today?

"Hard work… our biggest asset is hard work. When we aren’t on it, that’s when we don’t win games"

- ⁠What does this victory mean for the team?

"It is a great confidence boost… Wollaton F.C could go on and win the league this season & we’ve matched them all the way in our head to heads. It shows that if we had the same consistency in our performances during all season, who knows where we could be"

- ⁠How are going to prepare for the final now?

"We aren't gonna do anything different… Now, let'see who we will get in the final & have a good go on the day to win it like we try to do for every game."
